Freyzein
Freyzein introduces the world's first 100% cellulose-based technical multi-layered fabric, offering superior performance with waterproof, breathable, and durable properties. We replace petrochemical textiles, targeting premium brands seeking sustainable materials.
Technology
Freyzein has taken the core technology of cellulose modification and applied EcoDesign principles to create a high-performance waterproof and breathable fabric.
This mono-material product made from cellulose (and its derivatives), not only matches the performance of market-leading laminated fabric which is typically made of four different materials – the technology also disrupts the recyclability of performance textiles.
Lastly and crucially, the technology is feedstock agnostic, including post-consumer cotton products as well as agricultural waste.
