Pinecone Ventures is pleased to announce that Peter Näslund has joined Pinecone Sweden as a Partner and Shareholder, bringing decades of legal expertise and leadership experience to the venture capital firm.

With an impressive 32-year tenure as a lawyer and Partner at global law firm DLA Piper, Näslund has established himself as a prominent figure in the Swedish business community. His extensive background in M&A transactions, IPOs, and business development will be invaluable assets to Pinecone Ventures and its portfolio companies.

During his distinguished career at DLA Piper, Näslund spent the last six years as Managing Partner, where he successfully transformed the firm into Sweden's leading global law practice with 250 employees. His strong leadership capabilities and strategic vision were instrumental in achieving this remarkable growth.

After departing from DLA Piper, Näslund will divide his time between board assignments and working with entrepreneurial portfolio businesses such as Pinecone Ventures. His deep understanding of business development and corporate governance will provide strategic guidance to the firm's growing portfolio of innovative startups.

Näslund holds a Master of Law from Lund University and began his legal career as a Law Clerk at the District Court of Stenungsund before joining DLA Piper in 1990. He currently serves on several boards, including Börje Salmings ALS Insamlingsstiftelse, Sundströms Safety AB, and Aktiebolaget Varubelåning.
